Celebrating Woman's History Month-Graduation Pictures

The blog prompt for day 26 from Lisa Alzo's  The Accidental Genealogist is:

  1. Lovely, lovely pictures. Loretta McManus looks at the camera as if she is just waiting, with confidence, to hear what the photographer has to tell her. Your mother and maternal grandmother seriously resemble each other, my goodness! How super that you have these pictures!

I was looking at the dates. My Sumter relatives were going through Sumter High School in the 50s, and then earlier in the late teens (maybe before there was a Sumter high school -- like the old family story about the boys riding to school on the cows). My mother was 17 years younger than her oldest brother, and went to Coker College in the 30s. Maybe our families are just in interlacing generations!
