Conferences, events, and friends!
It's been a great two weeks. I was able to attend and speak at the South Carolina Genealogical Society Workshop, and then go to an event where I listened to a friend discuss a project that is important to everyone.
In-person events are a fantastic opportunity to network, make new friends, and connect with old ones. Learning from those who were speaking and being able to get some research done in the South Carolina Department of Archives and History was a bonus, too!
