Behind the Scenes at Relative Race with Story Producer Corey Cuff

The panel Melissa Barker, Jenny Hawran, Laura Hedgecock, Mary Kircher Roddy, and I welcome Relative Race Story Producer Corey Cluff for some behind-the-scenes details about how the show comes together. Although he couldn't share too many secrets, we do get an update on Dan and his experience being the producer for Season 11's Team Red. 

Watch as we learn who chooses the producer for each of the four teams, how the teams are contacted and told they are on the show, and get a hint of what chances are in store for Season 12.

Celebration Sunday-Genealogy Happy Dance! SLIG Fall Virtual Has Begun!

My Happy Dance Moment for this week: 

SLIG Fall Virtual has begun, and once again, I am taking  Advanced Evidence Analysis Practicum. This is a 6-week course helping to build genealogy skills.

Each week, we get a case with a genealogy question to answer and some beginning documents to get us started. The goal is to learn as we dive into the cases that often test our knowledge of documents, locations, and methodologies.

Beginning this course is my happy dance moment for the week. Why?

It's a lot of work, but putting the time into it will bring great rewards as I build my skills to try to answer each week's questions.
