You know the dance. You know you've done it. The one every researcher does after finding something new. The one where you want to jump up and down and shout to everyone that you found the document, contacted a cousin with the family Bible, made a DNA connection, or found a new branch to your tree. The one that is met with glazed stares and eye rolls.
My Happy Dance Moment for this week:

My Happy Dance Moment for this week:
A week from today, I will be finishing up my packing and putting polishing up my two presentations that I will be giving in Richmond, Virginia, during the National Genealogical Society Conference. The first Five Ways to Offer Your Membership Quality Programming" will be during the Focus sessions on Wednesday, May 31,
The second "Carolina On My Mind: Researching In the Palmetto State" will be given on Saturday, June 3.
I look forward to giving each of these presentations and attending many others during the week.
The best part of the week, and why I am so excited and already doing the happy dance, is the chance to catch up with friends and make new ones.
Richmond is a beautiful city filled with rich history and warm, friendly people.
I can't wait to attend! Will you be going? I hope to see you there!
Looking forward to reading about your Happy Dance moment!
