My paternal 3rd great grandfather, William A. Martin (1813-1887) was born 206 years ago in North Carolina. William lived much of his life in the Statesville, Iredell County area and may have been born there too.

My great-great grandmother, Bessie Mae (Eargle) Price (1878-1943) would be 141 years old. She was born in Aiken County, South Carolina and was the daughter of George David Eargle (1827-1886) and Elvira America (Booth) Eargle (1834-1898).
