You know the dance. You know you've done it. The one every researcher does after finding something new. The one where you want to jump up and down and shout to everyone around that you found the document, contacted a cousin who has the family Bible, made a DNA connection or found a whole new branch to your tree. The one that is met with glazed stares and eye rolls.
Celebration Sunday is a place to share your discoveries.
This is a weekly series to enable everyone to tell about their Genealogy Happy Dance moment. This can be done by scrolling down and adding your story to the comments section. You may also put a link to a blog post.
Let's celebrate and dance together.
A No Eye Rolling Zone!
My Happy Dance This Week:
I was able to connect with a cousin who is researching one of my maternal lines. Hopefully, together we can move back a generation or two! Share your discovery!
Are we kin? Please contact me. Together we can find our people.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

DeleteI found over a dozen grants, patents, purchase, sale of land for ancestors in Maryland since I figured out how to use the MDLandRec.net site, a part of the Maryland State Archives.

I may be too busy in the days to come (transcribing, inputting, citing the source for all of these) to let other ancestors add their names to my dance card. :) ~ Cathy
That is fantastic! Woot! Doing that dance! I appreciate you sharing. You have had quite a good last few weeks!
