GenFriends Genealogy Chat Show: RR Season 12 Day 8: We're All Crying!

A full house on Day 8! Melissa Barker, Dan Earl, Jenny Hawran, Laura Hedgecock, Shelley Murphy, Mary Kircher Roddy, Eowyn Langholf Walker, and I had so much fun talking about all the happenings on Day 8! So many answers to long-held questions brought tears to all of our eyes!

Celebration Sunday-Genealogy Happy Dance! A Full October!

You know the dance. You know you've done it. The one every researcher does after finding something new. The one where you want to jump up and down and shout to everyone that you found the document, contacted a cousin with the family Bible, made a DNA connection, or found a new branch to your tree. The one that is met with glazed stares and eye rolls.

October was filled with genealogy trips!

I spent the day presenting four lectures to the Wichita Genealogical Society.

Two presentations were given at the York, SC Library Workshop

And

I attended the APG PMC in Salt Lake City!

It is so much fun seeing friends and making new ones!

GenFriends Genealogy Chat Show: RR Season 12 Day 7: Unforeseen Events

The panel Melissa Barker, Jenny Hwran, Laura Hedgecock, and I get together to talk about the unforeseen events during the course of day 7 of Relative Race.

You never know what a day on the race will bring. Joy, sadness, and even injury.
