Celebration Sunday-Genealogy Happy Dance! A Presentation and an Orientation

You know the dance. You know you've done it. The one every researcher does after finding something new. The one where you want to jump up and down and shout to everyone that you found the document, contacted a cousin with the family Bible, made a DNA connection, or found a new branch to your tree. The one that is met with glazed stares and eye rolls.

Celebration Sunday is a place to share your discoveries.
This weekly series enables everyone to tell about their Genealogy Happy Dance moment.

My Happy Dance this week?

A presentation and an orientation had me excited to share information and the opportunity to begin a course to learn and build skills.

I was honored to be chosen to give a presentation at the UGA Summit of Excellence this week. I enjoyed sharing what I have learned about Guardianship Records. Thanks to the attendees!

Orientation for the Fall SLIG 2024 Virtual Courses was held, and I am so excited about beginning the "Death Party" course, as we dubbed it, during our breakout room with the instructors and attendees. This will be a great learning experience, and I can't wait to get started!

What's your Happy Dance Moment?
