Celebration Sunday-Genealogy Happy Dance!

You know the dance. You know you've done it. The one every researcher does after finding something new. The one where you want to jump up and down and shout to everyone around that you found the document, contacted a cousin who has the family Bible, made a DNA connection, or found a whole new branch to your tree. The one that is met with glazed stares and eye rolls.
Celebration Sunday is a place to share your discoveries.
This is a weekly series to enable everyone to tell about their Genealogy Happy Dance moment.

Share by scrolling down and adding your story to the comments section or you may also put a link to a blog post telling about what had you dancing this week.

My Happy Dance Moment for this week:
I had so much fun creating this Tech Zone Video for Legacy Family Tree Webinars this week! Have you made a video with Adobe Spark?
It's so easy and so much fun to use to create and share family stories.
If you haven't seen the video here's the link.
Such a fun happy dance moment!

But wait, there's MORE!!

My mom and I dropped by her cousin's house to see how she was doing. She lives 2 hours away and we were in town for other things. Mary lives in their grandparent's old home.
She invited us in and began showing me some family history photos and items both inside and outside the house. Now, I have been there before and she has shared many items with me, but this time there were even more. She has been cleaning out some storage areas and came across some of my great grandparent's belongings and some photos. Somethings have been there before, but she didn't know I would like to see them!

Here's just a few to the things I took photos of:
The old chicken coop where my mom remembers getting pecked by the Batam Rooster

The radio( the large one) mom listened to as a child sitting on her grandfather's lap

My great uncle's Purple Heart

A photo of my great grandmother Beulah Mae (Price) Roberts as a baby!

What a week for Happy Dances!!
