You know the dance. You know you've done it. The one every researcher does after finding something new. The one where you want to jump up and down and shout to everyone around that you found the document, contacted a cousin who has the family Bible, made a DNA connection or found a whole new branch to your tree. The one that is met with glazed stares and eye rolls.
Celebration Sunday is a place to share your discoveries.
This is a weekly series to enable everyone to tell about their Genealogy Happy Dance moment.
Share by scrolling down and adding your story to the comments section or you may also put a link to a blog post telling about what had you dancing this week.

My Happy Dance Moment for this week:
Have I mentioned before that the genealogy community is fabulous?
Once again they have proven they will do anything to lighten the load for others as we live in this uncertain time of COVID-19.
Last Saturday, the Virtual Genealogical Association had a talent show.
Members from across the world got together to sing, play instruments, tell stories, show their creative talents and more. It was so much fun to get our minds off the things going on around us and simply enjoy one another's company. Even though it was virtually!
A marvelous happy dance moment!
Did you miss it? Here's the link.
Unfortunately, due to copywrite issues, the musical numbers had to be stripped from the recording. That means you don't have the privilege of seeing my friend Kim Jordon and I singing: Puppy Love. But, I can share a photo!

Working on the Jamestown Association website to confirm two of my known descendants, I found THREE more! I had never given it a thought to have found the first one, and then second as I considered myself fortunate to have these men as my ?great-grandfathers. So the new finds were the whipped cream and cherry on top of the sundae! Not only that but they had bios posted for these men in their older blogs... hurrah! Working in the 17th century these moments have become few and far between.
